Talk Therapy

Are you ready for long term changes in your life?  My curious and interactive approach helps you heal not just current day symptoms, but deeply seeded roots.  I have an energy and passion for the work that creates a safe and nonjudgemental place for you to learn and heal.

I believe that mental health and physical health are very connected, especially when it comes to anxiety and trauma.  Part of our work together will be you learning how your body has adapted to stress and hardships over the years and also how to reverse these adaptations.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

Don’t be intimidated by the sound of this!  EMDR is an evidence based practice that uses bilateral stimulation (left/right eye or sensory movements) to help you reprocess difficult memories and belief system to work through negative thoughts and beliefs connected to our past!

Did you know that this intervention is not just helpful for treating trauma?  Whether you are working through shame, lack of control or being unable to meet goals for yourself, EMDR can help unblock you!  Questions on how EMDR could help you?  I would be happy to answer any questions!

Also, I am an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, which means I have undergone the highest levels of accreditation to provide this modality!

Expressive Therapy

I believe that healing comes from the body as well as the mind. Talk therapy is amazing but only gets us to one dimension of healing.  I use music, art, guided imagery and meditation to help clients reach higher levels of understanding.   Expressive therapy is great no matter the age or the presenting concern.

Sand & Symbolism

Sand and symbolism is a non-verbal form of therapy that offers a safe and protected space where the complexities of the inner world are explored and integrated into the psyche for emotional healing. Working in the sand can open the door to the unconscious world and reveal concerns that are inaccessible in talk therapy. As the unconscious emerges, it is integrated into a person’s sense of self and can elicit behavior change.  This is not just for children; it's perfect for any age and mental health diagnosis.

Dream Interpretation

Dreams are an important part of therapy.  It's how our subconscious self (right brain) communicates with our conscious self (left brain).  When we track our dreams and make sense of them, we are learning important information that is essential to our healing.

Clinical Consultation & Supervision

I have a love for teaching and empowering therapists to be the best forms of themselves.  Prior to entering private practice, I managed and supervised outpatient and in-home therapy departments for over 7 years, a well as taking on some of the most at-risk cases within the state of Massachusetts.

My mission is to develop critical thinking and self awareness of the therapist within the clinical hour.  Whether you are looking for guidance on challenging cases, supervision for licensing requirements, assistance with passing the LICSW exam, or just to continue to grow as a therapist, I am here to help!

My services are offered through Zoom, which offers flexibility to busy therapists looking for guidance.

Health & Wellness

Everyone's journey towards their healthiest version of themselves is different.  I have an individualized and all encompassing approach that meets anyone's needs.  Whether you are struggling with body image, an eating disorder, or are just feeling stuck meeting your health goals, I am here to help.

I use expressive therapies to help clients develop deeper understandings of themselves.  I also have had my own journey with health, and have used exercise as a way to overcome my own anxieties and sadness.
